Bitspower annonce its Low-Profile M.2 SSD Armor

Bitspower offers us its Low-Profile M.2 SSD Armor, a very small heatsink for M.2 SSDs. Measuring only 5 mm high, it should be able to slip between two PCIe without interfering too much with the graphics cards!

Low-Profile M.2 SSD Armor: a 5mm high SSD heatsink from Bitspower!

Bitspower Low Profile M.2 SSD ArmorWith this new heatsink, Bitspower is clearly banking on the compactness of its product. Indeed, it measures only 70 (W) x 22 (D) x 5 (H) mm. Normally, once in place, it should not interfere with the PCIe slots on your motherboard or PlayStation 5 console.

In itself, the product is extremely basic as it is a small piece of extruded aluminium. To complete the look, it is anodised, while the brand’s logo can be found on the top.

Even the mounting system is as basic as possible. Unlike other brands, the mounting system is not based on a screw system. No, here we have two rubber bands to position around the SSD and the heatsink. Of course, we can’t forget the thermal pad that is caught between the two.

Pricing is still a mystery… That said, when you see that the non-low profile model is priced at just over 8€ on Aquatuning we think that it won’t cost much.
