A few days ago, we told you about the famous RX 6900 XT LC from AMD. As strange as it may seem, a small batch of them has been found for sale at MindFactory. Initially, the card was intended for OEMs and system integrators and was not supposed to be available for retail sale. In short, it could have been a nice card for a few wealthy players… But they ended up in a mining rig. At this point, who could be surprised?

account of Andrea Schilling, editor at HardwareLuxx. In fact, there’s a good chance that these cards are from MindFactory’s stock, as they are (or were) the only retailer to offer them in Europe. As a reminder, their price was 1750 €.

Anyway, according to Guru3D, it’s surprising that minors have thrown themselves on this type of card. According to our colleague, the RX 6800 XT offers a faster return on investment than this model. In our opinion, given the current shortage, it is safe to say that miners are ready to jump on any model as long as there is stock. Especially since AMD cards are a godsend, since there is no system to lower the hashrate as it is the case for NVIDIA and their LHR GPUs. Once again, we can only be sorry to see that these few cards are so quickly gone in a mining rig.
