RTX 4060 Ti, the price cut that’s hurting AMD!
At BestBuy, Gigabyte’s 4060 Ti Gaming OC is available from $344. This represents a serious price cut, especially given its recommended retail price of $399. On the other hand, while the latter is very convenient for the consumer, it’s less convenient for AMD.
AMD’s RX 7600 XT, with 16 GB VRAM, is in this price bracket. However, the red card is far from offering the same level of performance as its NVIDIA rival. Our tests showed that, overall, the card in question lags behind in performance. Nonetheless, with a price difference of just $15, we’re sure that customers will opt for NVIDIA, which offers a better price/performance ratio.
The question now is whether this price cut is an initiative by Gigabyte, BestBuy or NVIDIA (unlikely), which has decided to give its card sales a little boost.
