Quite recently, the XFX brand announced a new range of graphics cards. Named Phoenix Nirvana, it is resolutely high-end, featuring an RX 7900 XTX with a large heatsink. Today, we learn that the series is available on more “modest” GPUs with the RX 7800 XT and RX 7900 GRE. By the way, the card swaps its black/red color theme for all-white!

As you can see, these boards are now available in white. The fan, backplate and fairing are all white. However, the PCB remains black, so there’s no change there. Speaking of fans, we’ve learned that they’re held in place by a magnet system, and that it’s up to the user to mount them. As for their dimensions, there are two 100 mm fans and a third 90 mm fan.

Overall, the boards are more compact than the 7900 XTX of the same name. The length of these new models is 33.7 cm, compared with 34.6 cm for the 7900 XTX. The same applies to thickness, at 5.9 cm versus 6.8 cm.

In terms of frequency, the RX 7800 XT is a minor disappointment, retaining its reference frequencies despite the presence of a large custom heatsink. However, the 7900 GRE benefits from 6.7% factory overclocking, with a boost to 2430 MHz. Finally, unlike the XTX, these two boards feature only two 8-pin PCIe power connectors!

Prices are also known: 4,299 yuan for the GRE versus 4,099 yuan for the 7800 XT… That works out at around €550 for the former and €522 for the latter.
