Unveiled at the Gamescom the famous Xeneon Flex, Corsair’s flexible screen, is now available for purchase. As a reminder, it is a 45″ monitor with an OLED panel whose curvature can be chosen simply by folding it… Literally!

Xeneon Flex : a 45″ panel to curve yourself !

XENEON FLEX 45WQHD240As a reminder, with this model, the Corsair brand offers us a massive monitor with a 45″ panel. The latter is based on an LG W-OLED panel displaying a UWQHD resolution (21:9 format) of 3440 x 1440, which some might consider too low given the diagonal.

On the other hand, the reactivity is good with a high refresh rate of 240 Hz. In fact, the latency is very low since the brand announces 0.3 ms gray to gray. The screen is also NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync compatible.

In terms of display, we can count on a very high contrast ratio of 130,000:1. The brightness can reach 1000 nits in peak in HDR mode, because yes, it is also certified HDR10. In terms of colorimetry, we will retain a coverage of 100% of the spectrum sRGB and 98.5% of the range DCI-P3.

Finally, the innovation here lies in the slab that can be tilted manually. The basic idea is to be flat, however, via the rear mechanism, you can force the curvature up to 800R! We tested it at GamesCom, see for yourself:
