Clearly, the most impressive aspect of this monitor lies in the ability to choose the radius of curvature. Indeed, the basic 45″ OLED monitor remains completely flat. However, thanks to a clever system positioned behind the screen, it can be curved up to 800R, a significant curvature. Moreover, to add to this impressive side, we have the right to a display format in 21:9. You will have understood, it displays 3440 x 1440, but beware, not all games support this format … Especially the old titles.
Beside that, we find a particularly responsive model with a refresh rate of 240 Hz (G-Sync and FreeSync compatible). Ditto for the latency with 0.03 ms gray to gray. Finally, the display should be in the hair with a brightness reaching 1000 nits in peak and a contrast ratio of 1350000:1!

Well, on the other hand, if OLED offers one of the best image qualities, it is also subject to burn-in. Corsair is aware of this problem and has integrated a mechanism to prevent this kind of problem. Moreover, the screen comes with a 3-year ” zero burn-in ” and dead pixel guarantee.
For the moment, we do not know more about the selling price, but it is clear that it will not be given. Already, an OLED monitor is not common, but in 240 Hz and with the possibility of curving it at our convenience … This is clearly a first. Finally, we can also ask the question of the relevance of such a mechanism. Globally, once we have found the curvature that suits us, there is not much reason to change it. But the innovation is clearly there.
