EKWB announces new CPU waterblocks, this time for AM5 platforms. The brand launches its EK-Pro CPU WB AM5 Ni + Inox, models aimed at workstations and other 1U rack servers.

On the menu, the brand announces two waterblocks for AM5 platforms. The first one is quite classical, offering two threads in G1/4″ on the top. The second one is a bit more original, aiming at compactness, its four threads in G1/8″ are on the edges. This positioning will allow this model to be installed in 1U racks while the first one can be mounted in more conventional machines.
Behind all this, the construction is qualitative since we find a top part in acetal. The machining is done with CNC machines for more precision. Next to that, the mounting system is based on a stainless steel construction with laser cutting. Finally, the base is made of nickel-plated copper.
Now we just have to talk about price and these two references are displayed at 156.71 € directly on the brand’s store. Yes, it stings.
