Asus announces a new monitor belonging to its TUF Gaming series. On the program, we find the VG249QM1A, a monitor with a Fast IPS panel with a high frequency: 270 Hz!

As we said, this new monitor signed Asus has a fast IPS panel. The latter offers a refresh rate of 270 Hz and a latency of 1 ms. However, this strong reactivity is there to compensate for the Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080).
Besides that, the characteristics are quite classic with a brightness of 350 cd/m² and a contrast of 1000:1. Otherwise, we will retain a coverage of 99% of the sRGB spectrum or viewing angles of 178 ° in horizontal or vertical.
Clearly, we are dealing with a screen intended for PC gamers and we find, therefore, features dedicated to games. One thinks in particular of the Game Plus allowing to display, in particular, the FPS, a timer, etc., etc..
In terms of connectivity, we can count on the presence of a DisplayPort 1.2, two HDMI 2.0 and a jack. Unfortunately, this reference does not have an adjustable stand in all directions. It can only be tilted back and forth from -5° to +20°. On the other hand, it has a VESA mounting in 100 x 100.
