Gelid has just announced the arrival of two new fans that are part of the “Galle” and “Gale Extreme” series. Let’s say it right away, watch your fingers! Indeed, these two new fans are mainly intended for minors. They should find their place on a mining rig where it is important to keep all the components cool, especially the graphics cards.
When we said, watch your fingers, it’s simply because the Gale Extreme fan has some pretty impressive features. Despite dimensions of 120 x 120 x 38 mm, the advertised speed offers a rotation range between 500 RPM and 6000 RPM. At full speed, the maximum airflow is 195 CFM while the static pressure will reach 24 mmH2O. This is simply breathtaking. That’s why they are sold with a protective grill. The Gale version offers less extreme features. The rotation range is between 500 RPM and 3500 RPM. At full speed, the maximum air flow is 110 CFM while the static pressure will reach 12 mmH2O.
