It’s no longer a surprise to anyone: the Intel ARC B570 will be available on 16 January 2024. After our test of the Intel ARC B580 Limited Edition, we’ve just received a very interesting card, the ASRock ARC B570 Challenger OC. Although no price has yet been announced, apart from Intel’s US dollar price of US$219, the card is already listed in several online shops, with a release date of 3pm on January 16, 2025. To our knowledge, there will be no B570 model produced by Intel on the ‘Limited Edition’ model.

Thanks to Intel France and ASRock for making this copy of the ARC B570 Challenger OC available to us.

Arc Battlemage: two models for launch

We’ve already reviewed the B580 model, and in a few weeks’ time it will be this ASRock ARC B570 Challenger OC. These two Arc Battlemage models feature the second generation of Xe cores. As you might expect, these will be more powerful, and there will be fewer of them than in the previous generation. Here’s a slide showing the differences between the two models.

Our example of ASRock’s ARC B570 Challenger OC has 18 Xe2 cores and 18 ray tracing units. It will have 10 GB of GDDR6 memory with a 160-bit memory interface, providing a bandwidth of 380 GB/s. The GPU frequency is announced by Intel as 2500 MHz, but we know that our B570 Challenger is an OC model with a GPU frequency of 2600 MHz. As far as TDP is concerned, the B570 has a TDP of 150 watts. The Intel ARC B570 will go on sale on January 16th, 2025 at a recommended price of US$219. It remains to be seen how much this ASRock ARC B570 Challenger OC will cost, as we’ve already spotted it at €260.
