Small tour at Thermalright who announces a new CPU cooler. On the program, we are facing a 120mm heatsink with a push/pull configuration. Here is the Ultra 120EX Rev.4 !
Ultra 120EX Rev.4 : a black and red push/pull heatsink from Thermalright !
With this new heatsink, we are dealing with a rather sober product since it is entirely in black. Only a few red silentblocks bring some contrast to the whole. For the rest, we will notice that the aluminum fins or heat pipes adopt a black coating.
In terms of dimensions, this model should fit quite easily in your case. Indeed, its 157 mm should help. Moreover, the width is 132 mm and the depth is 115.2 mm with the two fans.
Otherwise, the radiator itself benefits from 52 aluminum fins. These are 0.4 mm thick and are spaced 1.6 mm apart. Finally, we will retain the six copper heat pipes of 66 mm joining at a base, also in copper. Note that it is slightly off-center in order to maximize the compatibility with the RAM.
Finally, as far as the ventilation is concerned, we find a duo of TL-B12 Extrem, 120 mm fans. These fans have a rather high speed for aircooling with 2150 RPM at full speed. However, at full speed, it pushes with an air flow at 69 CFM and a static pressure at 2.87 mmH2O. Moreover, visually, we would give them a little side Nidec Gentle Typhoon or NF-A12x25
. According to Guru3D, the price will be rather high since it is around 85€.
