New heatsink for the Gelid brand which announces the arrival of its Tranquillo Rev 5. A new model that bets on a slim heatsink in order not to impact the RAM. Nevertheless, its structure makes it rather affordable, a positive point, especially for your wallet.
Tranquillo Rev 5: a slim 120 fan for Gelid!
With this new model, the brand announces a fairly classic slim heatsink with four heat pipes. These are mounted in direct contact with the processor and are joined at an aluminum base. Moreover, even if we do not know the dimensions, we will notice a slim profile as well as a height a priori maintained under the 160 mm fateful.
Concerning the ventilation, Gelid puts forward a PWM powered 120 mm mill. The latter has a rotation range between 700 RPM and 1600 RPM. At full speed, the maximum airflow of 65.5 CFM while the static pressure will reach the 1.47 mmH2O.
Finally, regarding the compatibility of sockets, we find almost all the platforms of the market except the TR4 and derivatives.
Concerning the price, you will have to pay 34,00 € to get this heatsink, which is rather silent by the way.
