Towards a Core i9 14900KS?

We’re heading for Israel, where a local retailer’s website features configurations based on a large processor. In fact, the retailer is promoting machines equipped with a Core i9 14900KS! Broadly speaking, this is a 14900K, but with higher frequencies.

The i9 14900KS seen in Israel!

i9 14900KSAs you can see, reseller PCOnline displays a number of configurations featuring this processor. However, we’re dealing more with machines intended for business/enterprise use than gaming-oriented machines. What really sets us off are the configurations displayed, without a dedicated graphics card. The same applies to memory: DDR4 at 3200 MT/s…

However, the information shared in relation to the CPU seems consistent: 6.2 GHz boost with 36 MB cache. Cache memory is in line with that of the 14900K and 14900KF (without iGPU). As for boost frequency, this is 200 MHz higher than that of a 14900K (tested here). However, the base frequency is not specified, nor is the TDP, which is expected to be higher than that of its K counterpart, at around 150W.

Last but not least, we’d like to mention the price of these configurations, at 4986 NIS (Shekel) at the most expensive, i.e. around €1,200. Of course, we’ll take all this information with a grain of salt.
