Thermaltake announces the arrival of new memory kits. The company offers us its ToughRAM D5 RGB. This last one is equipped with a colorful heatsink with a design specific to the company!
ToughRAM D5 RGB: colorful memory kits!
With its new memory kits, the company is offering us some rather special kits… At least, from a visual point of view. Indeed, the radiator takes the shape of the logo “TT”, but that’s not all since six colors are proposed. From there, we find the usual black and white kits, but also red, yellow, turquoise and green.
Of course, RGB lighting is also present in the form of a light bar positioned on top of the modules. The latter has eight aRGB diodes that can be controlled via the brand’s software.
Regarding their characteristics, the brand of kits of 32 GB only (2x 16 GB). Compared to the competition, the frequencies are not very high: 5600 MT/s only. We have seen kits G.skill to reach 8200 MT/s. As for the timings, the brand announces 36-36-36-76 while the voltages are between 1.1V and 1.25V.
Finally, the use of SK Hynix M-die memory chips as well as the support of XMP3.0 and AMD EXPO profiles.
Currently, no price is known, as the brand does not reference its RAM on its store… But the datasheet is available on their website.
