Via a slide, apparently official, Videocardz indicates that it has the final specifications of the RTX 4070. With this, the official price is also included: $599, which positions the card against the RTX 3070 Ti in terms of price. Will we get better?

RTX 4070 specs confirmed!

RTX 4070 caractéristiques

Unfortunately, the slide doesn’t give a precise GPU configuration, but it says enough. It confirms the use of an AD104 GPU as well as the presence of a 36 MB L2 cache, nine times higher than the RTX 3070/Ti. At the same time, we learn that the card will use third-generation RT core and fourth-generation tensor core. The GPU will support the AV1 codec and DLSS3 technology.

In terms of memory, we will have the right to 12 GB of GDDR6X based on a memory bus of 192 bits. In total, the bandwidth would be 504 GB/s, higher than the 448 GB/s of the RTX 3070, but lower than the 608 GB/s of the 3070 Ti.

The slide also shows the power consumption values of the card. In game, we should therefore be dealing with a model drawing 186W against 16W in video playback and 10W in idle. Nevertheless, the TGP is 200W. Even if the NVIDIA slide does not mention it, the last rumors indicated that we could find a PCIe 8-pin connector as a power supply.

As for the price, as we said, the card will cost $599, like the RTX 3070 Ti. That leaves us room for a $499 RTX 4060 Ti…
