There have been a lot of rumours and leaks surrounding NVIDIA’s RTX 50s recently… At the same time, it’s logical that the launch is arriving bit by bit. While the launch date for the first models is thought to be around CES 2025, we now learn that the chameleon is not planning a refresh for these cards!
No RTX 50 Super on the programme:
From time to time, NVIDIA releases a series of refresh graphics cards. This was the case with the RTX 2000, which had its share of Super cards, and the current generation with the RTX 4000 Super. However, the RTX 3000 did not. Clearly, with the RTX 50s, it would be the same as with the RTX 30s: there would simply be no refresh cards to consider, according to our ITHome colleagues.
The RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 are therefore expected at CES 2025, with a conference to be held by Jensen Huang one day before the start of the show. The other cards, meanwhile, are expected to arrive later. We can therefore expect the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 to arrive in February, while the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 will be launched in March.
Little by little, the pieces are falling into place.
