A new keyboard arrives at Thermaltake which announces its Argent K6 RGB Low Profile. A new model which has for particularity its design, already, and its switches. Here, we are dealing with low profile models reducing the thickness of the keyboard!
Silver K6 RGB Low Profile: 37.5 mm height for the TT keyboard!
With this new keyboard, the brand offers us an imposing model since it measures 454 (W) x 157 (D) x 37.7 (H) mm. Clearly, you’ll need to make room on your desk. Nevertheless, it remains slightly more compact than the K5 that we tested here.
Otherwise, Thermaltake takes care of the design of its keyboard with a two-tone aluminum cover plate. We find a black part and a second silver with a wave effect.
Moreover, this model is equipped with keys and dedicated multimedia functions. Similarly, we note the presence of a sound wheel integrated on the right side of the keyboard.
Internally, this model features German switches, Cherry MX Low Profile. Two variations are proposed: Silver Speed (45g, accentuation at 1 mm) and red (45g, accentuation at 1.2 mm). Otherwise, we will retain the N-Key Rollover, the polling rate at 1000 Hz, the integrated memory of 4 MB and the RGB lighting key by key.
On the other hand, the price will not be given. Via Cowcotland we learn that the bill will rise to 199.99 €!
This way to the Thermaltake datasheet!
