Silent Wings 4: many different versions!
With this new series, be quiet! offers fans in 120 mm and 140 mm. However, what is surprising here is the number of versions offered by the brand. We have, indeed, three versions in 120 mm and 140 mm without counting the so-called “Pro” models. What distinguishes them here is the type of power supply and the maximum speed reached by each model. In 120 mm, this new Silent Wings turns at 1600 RPM against 2500 RPM in its ” High Speed ” version. The “Pro” model, via a selector on the back of the fan, can go up to 3000 RPM! In 140 mm, be quiet! offers a mill operating at 1100 RPM against 1900 RPM in the ” High Speed ” version. Finally, still via selector, the “Pro” model will reach 2400 RPM. Otherwise, we still find the mounting system specific to the brand with wedges to insert on the frame according to the type of mounting desired. Finally, we will retain the particular profile of the blades similar to what can offer Noctua with its NF-A12x25 or Thermaltake with the Toughfan 12. For the prices, it will be necessary to count 23,90 € for the versions in 120 mm against 24,90 € for the 140 mm. The Pri models will be more expensive: 31.90 € in 120 mm against 32.90 € in 140 mm.
