In some parts of the world, certain components are often sold as bundles. This means that other components are included with the purchase of the processor. This is particularly the case with the upcoming Ryzen 7 9850X3D, which is due to arrive in the coming days. In China, the CPU is sold together with a Cooler Master CPU cooler and a V-Color memory kit!
Ryzen 7 9850X3D: a rather generousbundle!
AMD has clearly partnered with other brands to offer a set of components to accompany its new CPU. The bundle includes a Cooler Master Hyper 612 Apex Pro cooler. As a reminder, this is a high-end cooler with a particularly neat design. It comes with two powerful fans that reach speeds of up to 2400 rpm. The fin block is crossed by a total of six copper heat pipes.
In terms of memory, it is a V-Color Manta XFinity kit with an LCD display that allows you to keep an eye on the temperature of the modules, for example. However, the full specifications of the kit are not known. We simply know that it is a 32 GB set consisting of two 16 GB sticks. Speaking of memory, remember that a slide from the Reds indicated that CPU performance was not very dependent on memory frequency.
Of course, we find our processor, the famous 9850X3D, whose specifications are very similar to those of the Ryzen 7 9800X3D: 8 cores and 96 MB of L3 cache. In concrete terms, the only difference with the 9800X3D is the turbo frequency, which increases to 5.6 GHz… The rest of the specifications remain unchanged.
Please note that the existence of this component bundle does not mean that the CPU will only be sold with other components. It is an alternative for anyone who wants to assemble a complete machine. All that remains is to find out its price to see how it compares to buying each component separately. Finally, remember that this CPU is scheduled for release on January 29 at 3 p.m.
