Let’s head to Cooler Master, which is launching a new heatsink with its Hyper 612 Apex. This is a product that has been talked about since the end of 2024. We had to wait all that time before the brand decided to market it. As for the price, expect to pay around sixty euros, with limited availability at the moment.

Hyper 612 Apex: a neat look for a 159 mm high ventirad!

Cooler Master Hyper 612 ApexWith this heatsink, the brand offers us a rather compact reference measuring 127 (W) x 114 (D) x 159 (H) mm. As far as the finish is concerned, as you can see, it looks quite satisfactory with a black top cover featuring a Cooler Master logo. Even the fans have a frame that hides the fasteners. As for the radiator, it’s completely black.

Otherwise, we’re dealing with a fan with a slightly off center copper base. The aim here is to maximise compatibility with the memory. There are also six Superconductive composite copper heat pipes, according to the brand. In any case, they measure 6 mm in diameter.

Otherwise, ventilation is provided by two Mobius 120P fans, which run from 0 to 2400 rpm. At full throttle, Cooler Master claims an airflow of 75.2 CFM for a static pressure of 3.63 mmH2O. Blow!

Of course, Cooler Master is also compatible with the current mainstream platforms, such as the LGA-1000, which includes the LGA-1851 and 1700, as well as the AMD AM5 and AM4 sockets .

The price is around €55 from Amazon. For the moment, Amazon is the only retailer to list this new Cooler Master heatsink. After that, it should be available in more and more shops.
