We’ve known it for a while, but AMD is offering a Ryzen 7 5800X3D 10th Anniversary. In broad terms, this is a special edition to celebrate 10 years of life on the AM4 socket , a platform with exceptional longevity. To put it simply, it saw the light of day in 2016 and hosted several generations of Ryzen CPUs with the Zen, Zen+, Zen 2 and Zen 3 architectures before handing over to the AM5. In any case, the processor in question is now on sale in India, and some units may even be in circulation!
Ryzen 7 5800X3D 10th Anniversary: the CPU sold in India!
Just a change of packaging?
Basically, with this version, AMD is simply making a packaging change. The visual changes include an insert mentioning the presence of 3D V-Cache, which migrates to the lower right-hand corner, and a laurel wreath with the words:
” 10th
Anniversary Edition
April 16th 2016
10 years of innovation “
Otherwise, the processor retains its 100-000000651 product number. No change in features is therefore expected. The CPU is expected to feature a total of 8 cores and 16 threads. In terms of frequencies, we’re talking about a base 3.4 GHz with a turbo at 4.5 GHz, all with a thermal envelope of 105W. 3D V-Cache boosts total L3 cache memory to 96 MB. In short, if you’re a gamer looking for the best gaming CPU available in AM4, this is the model for you!
Priced at around $310:
In terms of price, the Indian store 99deals.in lists this model at ₹30,000.00, or around $310 after conversion. In euros, the bill drops a little: ~€270, but we don’t take into account the various taxes. In any case, the CPU is currently out of stock, while the first reviews are already starting to appear on the product page. This tends to confirm that the CPU is already in circulation.
