Until now, all the cards launched by NVIDIA have not had sufficient stocks to satisfy demand. Nor are the rumors of the day reassuring in regards of the future models. Apparently, the RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 (Ti) are facing production problems, which does not reassure us for their respective launches.

Broadly speaking, NVIDIA is experiencing performance problems with its future mid-range cards. They obviously need further debugging before mass production can begin. However, this is a time-consuming process, and in the meantime, the clock is ticking. We’ve learned that the 5070 will officially see the light of day on March 5, but that production won’t reach full capacity until mid-March. So expect to have to fight once again to buy graphics cards.

As for the RTX 5060 (Ti), things are a little more vague, especially as regards the official launch date. In any case, we’ve learned that mass production here will not reach full capacity until mid-April. Let’s hope that the launch date will be set somewhere when production is at its peak… That we can have at least one RTX 50 available in quantity.

As a reminder, the RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 will use the same chip, a GB206, but cut differently depending on the card. Thus, the 5070 will benefit from a total of 12 GB of VRAM, versus 8 GB for the RTX 5060. The RTX 5060 Ti, meanwhile, will be produced from a larger GB205, while rumors indicate that there will be a 16GB version of this card.

In short, a situation that is still far from ideal for consumers. At present, all cards in the RTX 50 range are out of stock, and restocking times are still long.
