Big graphics cards are all very well, they’re nice, they give you the feeling of a top-of-the-range product, but they’re not necessarily very practical. In fact, in some cases, having a 32, 33 or 35 cm card is simply not an option, because depending on the format, the card won’t fit. So you have to choose another GPU or change your case. In short, at the opposite end of the spectrum to these models, we have Gigabyte offering us an RTX 5060 Low Profile, an 18.2 cm long card with a half-height PCB, all on two slots!

RTX 5060 Low Profile: finally an all-purpose RTX 50!

Gigabyte RTX 5060 Low ProfileWith this model, we have a card that is anything but imposing, as you can see. In fact, it has a half-height PCB topped by a compact heatsink. The whole thing is just two slots thick… However, Gigabyte has opted for cooling with three fans, however small they may be. These fans will blow over a radiator consisting of a copper base for the GPU and VRAM.

The brand is not using conventional thermal pads, but a thermal gel for the memory and power supply stages. The question we’re asking is how long this solution will last, and what happens if the card is dismantled? Quite honestly, we don’t expect the card to be able to be dismantled.

Even so, Gigabyte applies factory overclocking to its model. What’s more, we don’t yet know what frequencies will be achieved. Bear in mind, however, that a reference RTX 5060 runs at 2497 MHz.

Finally, as far as the power supply is concerned, we find a single 8-pin PCIe mounted on the rear of the printed circuit board. The rest of the connectivity features three DisplayPorts coupled with a single HDMI, all on two levels. Oh, and let’s not forget to mention the presence of a half-height bracket too.
