A quick look back at MSI’s magnificent RTX 4080 Super Expert, which was presented and unveiled at CES earlier this year. The leaker @wxnod, on X.com, shared the card’s datasheet. The specifications are now known!
RTX 4080 Super Expert: the card’s datasheet is now available!
As a reminder, with this card, the brand is offering us a rather special model. It features a heatsink similar to that of NVIDIA’s Founders boards. However, the design is different, with an attractive golden hue.
Nevertheless, don’t expect a compact card, as this model is 33.6 cm long, 14.2 cm wide and 7.8 cm thick. That’s a lot of cinder block, especially considering the card’s 1.9 kg weight.
Otherwise, specifications are in line with the original RTX 4080 Super. This model features 10240 cuda core and 16 GB VRAM. Memory appears to be slightly overclocked from the factory, with 23 Gbps compared with 22.4 Gbps on the original model. Finally, GPU frequency has also been revised upwards, to 2625 MHz via the MSI Center software. Nevertheless, power consumption remains at 320W.
As a reminder, this is a card we had the opportunity to see on the MSI stand at CES this year.
