Until now, no new graphics card had caught our eye at CES 2024, but that was without counting on the discovery of the superb MSI RTX 4080 SUPER 16GB EXPERT X. If, like us, you’re a fan of NVIDIA’s Founders Edition, this RTX 4080 SUPER EXPERT X should not leave you unmoved. In fact, it’s hard not to see a resemblance with the NVIDIA model.
It features a Push Pull Airflow design for improved cooling efficiency. MSI has put a lot of effort into the design, opting for high-quality materials and parts. In fact, it reminds us of the MSI RTX 4090 Suprim Liquid X! The case is built with aluminum die-casting for structural strength, while Core Pipe and a vapor chamber work to efficiently dissipate the heat from the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Super chip.
The new patented fans ensure quiet and reliable airflow. Although we know that this model will be equipped with 16GB of DDR6X memory, we don’t yet know its availability or price. We also hope to see MSI extend this ‘EXPERT X’ series to other chipsets.
