Small tour at Colorful which unveils its RTX 4070 Neptune OC. This is a customized model by the brand. However, its particularity is to be cooled by an AIO in 240 mm, which leaves a very small card!
RTX 4070 Neptune: a compact card cooled by AIO in 240 mm!
With this card, the brand offers us a rather compact reference that will only occupy two slots in your case. On the other hand, you’ll have to find some space to mount the 240mm heatsink. That said, the card comes with a factory overclocking with a boost frequency of 2640 MHz.
The PCB is fully customized and the board has 14+3 power supply phases. Also, the power limit has been changed from 200W to 230W.
Otherwise, for cooling, of course, we have a pump mounted to cool the GPU directly. The memory and the power supply stages benefit from a copper base with flat heat pipes. Finally, we have a backplate mounted on the back, but it is hard to say if it will help with cooling.
However, where it stings is when you look at the retail price: $830. As a reminder, the RTX 4070 was launched at a price of $599… Yes, that’s quite a difference.
