Razer announces its new Blackwidow V4 Pro keyboard. A new version that comes with a wheel and dedicated macro keys. We finally learn that the brand takes care of the isolation of its keyboard and the typing via switches and lubricated stabilizers!
Blackwidow V4: a wheel and macro keys added!
With this new Blackwidow, the brand offers us a “complete” keyboard in 104 keys format. This one will be rather imposing with unspecified dimensions. However, with its scroll wheel and row of macro keys, it is not likely to be more compact than another model.
In any case, the brand is highlighting the new control wheel in the upper right corner. Via the Synapse software, you can create up to 100 custom modes. But by default, it can be used for horizontal or vertical scrolling, on browser or Excel for example. Similarly, you can manage the scrolling of an audio track or the zoom level on various applications. In addition to all this, the keyboard gains a total of five macro keys.
Otherwise, internally, the technical sheet is not very talkative. However, it does indicate the presence of a polling rate of 8000 Hz and an integrated memory for saving 5 profiles. We also learn that this model offers two types of switches, yellow and green, which offer a linear or tactile feeling.
Moreover, the most important thing to remember is the care given to the acoustics. Razer says it has lubricated the stabilizers and integrated insulating foam in the keyboard’s case. Finally, as for the materials, this Blackwidow V4 Pro has a 5052 aluminum faceplate as well as double injection ABS keys!
Currently, the keyboard is available for pre-order directly through the brand’s website. For the price, you will have to count $229,99 or 269,99 €!
