Q3: a 28 mm high Dynatron heatsink with 125W TDP!

0

In the world of server fans, we have Dynatron which announces the arrival of its Q3. This is a very small fan with a height of only 28 mm and is intended for Alder Lake-S CPUs. Of course, given its size, it is perfectly compatible with 1U racks.

Q3: the 28mm fan for 125W TDP!

Dynatron Q3As you can see, this fan is ridiculous, however, it can handle TDP of 125W. This is made possible by the choice of materials. As you can see, the base of the product is made of copper, as well as the tiny fins that are machined into it. Moreover, considering the dimensions (90 x 90 x 28 mm), it remains quite heavy: 444 g! Thermal paste is pre-applied and it is Shin-Etsu 7762.

On the other hand, we have the fan which is very powerful and energy consuming (19.2W). Finally, for its size. It may not look like it, but this small blower of 80 mm on a side by 15 mm high, can run up to 7000 RPM. At this speed it only generates 22.28 CFM of air flow, but the pressure is insane. Indeed, the brand announces no less than 74,18 mmH2O (!!!). For comparison, a Corsair ML 120RGB in 120 mm is 3,2 mmH2O and already, it was a lot.

Finally, the price is not known and we would be tempted to have it to make the parallel with our consumer fans.
