After announcing its Prime AP202 case, ASUS takes the opportunity to launch new fans. The mills in question are none other than the Prime MR120, fans designed for use on cases
Prime MR120: ASUS fans for case ventilation!
In detail, ASUS offers fans measuring 120 mm on each side, with a thickness of 28 mm. These fans are therefore slightly thicker than conventional fans, without going to the extremes of Hyte Thicc FP12 fans, for example. Furthermore, the connectors appear to be classic, with four-pin PWM connectors coupled with aRGB sockets for lighting management. In fact, the three-fan pack will benefit from a splitter to connect the three fans to a single fan socket on the motherboard. Of course, RGB will be very present on these mills, as they integrate some twenty RGB diodes. Edging is present on the inside of the fan frame, as well as on the outer edges. If you like that, you should be pleased.
But what interests us most here are the features of the mills. On this subject, we’ll mention a maximum operating speed of 1600 rpm. At full speed, the airflow generated will be 58 CFM, while static pressure will reach 1.7 mmH2O. But there’s also an inverted-blade version that will turn just as fast. However, the static pressure will be lower: 1.38 mmH2O, while the flow rate will remain unchanged. For the moment, we don’t yet know the sales price.
