Over the weekend we saw a number of leaks about the next Intel processors destined to take their place in our desktop PCs. The new-generation Core Ultra 200 ‘Arrow Lake’ processors should logically make their market debut next month. For the moment, nothing has been fully confirmed, but an announcement could potentially be made at the beginning of October, with a commercial launch on the 17th of the same month… To confirm that everything is clearly imminent, an online retailer has provided us with a price list for the next Intel CPUs. LambdaTek is obviously not the reseller whose name is on everyone’s lips when you want to buy components. However, like many others, it uses the aggregation of stock feeds and prices from official wholesalers to feed its site.
Prices of the replacements for the 14600K, 14700K and 14900K listed
In total, there are five different models of Intel Core Ultra 200K processors. In addition to the Core Ultra 5 245K , Ultra 7 265K and Ultra 9 285K, there are the non-iGPU Core Ultra 7 265KF and Core Ultra 5 245KF.
You’ll notice that the French version of the site, consulted last, no longer shows the KT versions, unlike the screenshot of the UK version of the site taken by Momomo_US over the weekend.
Prices are in line with what we’ve seen on previous generations, but we’re not immune from a good or bad surprise. Intel’s (and AMD’s) relationship with official wholesalers means that changes can be made right up to launch time. So we’ll have to wait and see, and we hope to bring you more information soon on these processors, which mark a certain break with what Intel has been doing over the last few generations. Of course, the lukewarm launch of the Ryzen 9000 is an opportunity for the Blues… who know they can’t afford to miss out.
