Via a tweet on X from PowerColor’s official account, we were able to find out what will almost certainly be the next RX 9070 XT Red Devil. PowerColor teases this next card with the following message: ” When you gaze into the abyss, the abyss glows red in return. Are you ready to face the abyss’s gaze?
We’re particularly fond of the PowerColor brand, having had the opportunity to test the models in the ‘Red Devil’ series over the last few years, including the RX 7900 XTX Red Devil Limited Edition and the RX 7900 XTX Liquid Devil.
But let’s get back to this announcement and this new future PowerColor model. It’s not hard to imagine that the unveiled photo shows the backplate of the graphics card, revealing the radiator and the logo of this ‘Red Devil’ series. We should undoubtedly be looking at a card with a dark design, but with hints of red and a backlighting system.
It remains to be seen whether PowerColor will offer a ‘Limited Edition’ version or stick with its basic series, if it can really be called that. It should also be remembered that a new Reaper series is set to make its appearance in the range, and is due to be announced at CES 2025.
