The brand Kolink announced a few days ago two new bodies with its Inspire 12K and Observatory Duo. The goal of the brand is always to offer neat cases at affordable prices. We are talking here about a bill amounting to a maximum of 75 €… At least, officially!
The Inspire 12K, the more affordable of the two!
With its Inspire 12K, the brand offers the more affordable of the two. This model, which costs 54.90 €, measures 200 (W) x 350 (D) x 440 (H) mm. It can accommodate motherboards in ATX format at most. Otherwise, it has 330 mm length for the graphics card and 160 mm height for the CPU cooling unit. As for the power supply, it has a space of 180 mm.
Regarding the storage, we find two 2.5″/3.5″ slots in a HDD cage offering a tool-free assembly. Otherwise, we can count on two additional 2.5″ slots at the back of the motherboard tray.
Finally, in terms of ventilation, at the front, we can install three fans in 120/140 mm against two in the top. At the back, we find a 120 mm fan already installed and the power supply cover also offers two 120 mm slots. For watercooling radiators, a model support in 360/280 mm is provided in the front. At the top, we will be satisfied with installing 280/240 mm.
The Observatory Duo, a little bigger, better capacities :
The Observatory Duo is the more expensive of the two as it is advertised at 74,90 €. It is also a bit bigger than the previous one with dimensions of 212 (W) x 360 (D) x 470 (H) mm. Nevertheless, if the power supply and CPU cooling compatibility does not increase, it offers an E-ATX motherboard and graphics card support that can reach 355 mm in length… Although it is necessary to sacrifice the front ventilation.
For storage, no change with two 3.5″, two 2.5″ or four 2.5″ slots.
The same goes for cooling, no change in the capacity of fans and watercooling radiators. However, this model comes with four Umbra S aRGB fans installed as standard. Moreover, the control box is installed as standard and the lighting can be managed via a button accessible from the control panel.
