NZXT has unveiled its new S5 RGB and S5 RGB Deluxe cases. With these models, the brand is focusing on value for money, offering cases priced under €70. Clearly, you’ll have everything you need to build a perfectly respectable PC at a lower cost, while enjoying comprehensive cooling right out of the box. In short, what more could you ask for?
S5 RGB: Value for the money above all else!

These cases feature a fairly classic design. The motherboard is mounted above the power supply, which is housed in a lower compartment. In terms of dimensions, they’re quite compact, measuring 210 (W) x 423 (D) x 482 (H) mm.
Internally, you can install an ATX motherboard paired with a graphics card up to 415 mm in length. For the power supply, there is 200 mm of clearance in depth, and 162 mm of height for the CPU cooler.
By default, the cooling system includes a 360 mm single-frame fan with reverse-curved blades mounted on the side of the motherboard. The Deluxe version goes a step further by including two additional fans—one at the rear and one at the bottom. The bottom fan is positioned to blow cool air directly onto the graphics card. All in all, you can install up to ten 120 mm fans, compared to just two 140 mm fans. For water cooling, a 360 mm radiator can be installed at the top.
Very affordable prices!
In terms of retail prices, these models are designed to be very affordable, with the base model priced at just €59.90 and the Deluxe version at €69.90. For just €10 more, you get two additional fans, one of which blows directly onto the graphics card. Clearly, NZXT is going to be selling these by the pallet load!
