EKWB doesn’t only offer water cooling solutions for consumer boards, oh no. The proof today with a waterblock for a server card. The Slovenian brand cools down the NVIDIA A100, a professional card that costs more than 20000 € !
NVIDIA A100: an EK waterblock for this server card!
On the program, EKWB offers its EK-Pro GPU WB A100 80 GB Rack – Nickel + Stainless Steel. As you can see, the design is slightly different from the general public blocks since we aim at compactness. This model allows theA100 to occupy only one slot in a server rack . Likewise, the terminal moves to the back to limit the height as much as possible. Moreover, this model is compliant with the FHFW (Full Height Full Width) standard.
The construction combines both electrolytic copper for the base and stainless steel for the upper part. The terminal is made of POM and incorporates two G1/4″ EKWB threads using a high quality EPDM gasket for sealing. Considering the price of the material, a leak would simply be catastrophic. And to ensure maximum stability, the PCIe bracket is machined directly into the block!
For the price, it will be necessary to count 272,90 € directly from the store of the brand. A not so huge extra cost compared to the price of the NVIDIA card!
