The German brand Alphacool announces a new series of watercooling radiators. Indeed, the company unveils its NexXxos HPE in 30 mm and 45 mm thickness. Like those used on the new kits Eisbaerkits, they have more channels and more fins.

NexXxos HPE: improved performance!

With these new radiators, the brand offers two series with its HPE-30 and HPE-45. Roughly speaking, we have models with a thickness of 30 mm and 45 mm respectively, like the current ranges. Likewise, they still have a copper construction, especially in the channels and fins. However, the outer ring is made of steel while the threads are made of brass.

Nevertheless, they are distinguished by the use of a greater number of internal channels. On the visuals, we can guess that the latter increase from 12 to 14. This allows to increase the amount of liquid in the radiator. In addition, the fin density increases from 15 FPI to 18 FPI for the NexXxos 30 and from 12 FPI to 16 FPI for the NexXxos 45.

Here, the theory goes that with more channels and fins, you increase the contact area and therefore improve the performance of the heat sinks.

In any case, Alphacool announces quite a range of models. In HPE-30, we have a choice of eight models (from 120 mm to 560 mm). There are seven HPE-45s, as there is no 560mm version. In addition, each radiator has four G1/4″ ports and a fillport.

Finally, the price range is between about 70 € and 148 €. Of course, the bill will vary depending on the size and thickness of the radiator.
