EM680, a new mini machine from MinisForum!
As we said, the PC’s ultra-compact dimensions are 80 x 80 x 43 mm. That said, despite these dimensions, the PC features an AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor. This is an eight-core CPU with hyperthreading. The basic speed is 2.7 GHz, with a boost to 4.7 GHz. The TDP is configurable from 15W to 28W, and there’s a small RADEON 680M graphics unit with 768 stream processors.
As for RAM and storage, Minisforum offers configurations with 16GB to 32GB of memory. As for storage, we have a choice of 512 GB or 1 TB SSDs.
Finally, despite its ultra-small size, the machine has all the connectivity you need to plug in your keyboard/mouse combo and monitor. There are three USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, complemented by two USB-C ports acting as DisplayPorts. Of course, there’s also an HDMI 2.1, a 3.5 mm jack, a Kesington lock and a clear CMOS.
Prices start at $399 and end at $489.
