ASRock B650 LiveMixer
The AMD model

In the program, we find two motherboards in ATX format, one in AM5, the other in LGA-1700. If the first benefits from a B650 chipset, the Intel version is in Z790.

Overall, both boards offer a rather complete connectivity and a rather similar layout. Thus, we will have the right to three physical PCIe x16 ports as well as a small PCIe x1 on the Intel version. Be careful though, the AMD card only offers PCIe 4.0, there will be no 5.0 unlike the Intel version.

The storage part in front of two SATA III against four for the Z790 model. Nevertheless, the B650 model will also be less complete than the Intel version since there will be five M.2 connectors in Intel and three in AMD. In any case, both platforms leave the field open to PCIe 5.0. Finally, a last M.2 is available for a WiFi module.

And the Intel version

The power supply part should allow you to serenely supply your processor with a total of 14+1+1 phases. Regarding memory, both models allow the installation of DDR5 RAM for a capacity of up to 128 GB.

Finally, both cards have been tested with video capture devices from AVerMedia and Elgato. Likewise, there are up to 23 USB ports, which is very practical for connecting a keyboard, mouse, microphone, headphones, streamdeck, camera, etc., etc.

As for price, the B650 LiveMixer is already available at on MindFactory for 260,79 € ! As for the Z790, you’ll have to wait a bit, as this model is still not available in France.
