K70 Core TKL: new keyboard from Corsair!

Last year, Corsair announced a new keyboard with the K70 Core (tested here). It was an interesting reference sold at the affordable price of €100. For this price, we got a keyboard with pre-lubricated switches, which greatly reduces noise pollution. Today, we learn of the launch of the K70 Core TKL, its counterpart without numeric keypad!

K70 Core TKL: the version without numeric keypad!

Corsair K70 Core TKLThis keyboard is a TKL model, without numeric keypad. Though it retains its navigation keys and directional arrows, if you want to type numbers, you’ll have to use the Shift character shortcut.

Internally, Corsair has taken care of the acoustics of its keyboard by filling it with different layers of soundproofing. In the casing, we have two layers of foam, while another layer is present between the PCB and the layer plate, where the switches are mounted.

Speaking of switches, once again the brand has opted for pre-lubricated MLX Red V2 in-house switches. The result: improved acoustics and a smoother, more pleasant typing experience. However, the characteristics of these switches are not yet known.

Finally, there’s a multifunction wheel and the keyboard comes in a wireless version with a battery life of up to 2400 hours via Bluetooth and 890 hours via the Slipstream dongle.

For the moment, we don’t know the retail price.
