Chinese brand Jonsbo announces a new case reference with the T7. A new case that looks rather interesting on paper, since in a µATX format, it offers a case as well as a handle for easy transportation… And it’s made of wood too!
T7: an easy-to-transport case from Jonsbo!
Clearly, with this new case, the brand is aiming for compactness as well as transportability. As you can see, we’re dealing with a compact reference with dimensions of 210 (W) x 305 (D) x 403 (H) mm. What’s more, we’ve opted for luxurious materials such as wood, which is abundantly used in the lower part of the case, as well as on the upper carrying handle. Internally, there’s not much room to spare, since the chassis is designed to accommodate a micro-ATX or mini-ITX format motherboard. But that’s not all: you won’t have to be too greedy when it comes to choosing a graphics card, with its maximum length of 255 to 280 mm. Otherwise, on the CPU cooling side, we have 165 mm of free height, compared with 220 mm of depth for the power supply.
Ventilation will have to make do with three 120 mm fans: two at the front, one at the rear, and that’s it. As for watercooling, the brand has not announced any compatibility with radiators, even in 120 mm. Finally, the storage section focuses on a 3.5″ hard disk that can be used by two 2.5″ SSDs. Finally, a 2.5″ slot closes the deal. In short, this is a rather compact and easy-to-transport case. However, compatibility with other components is limited. On the other hand, it’s a choice made to minimize the footprint as much as possible. All that remains is to find out the retail price and date of availability.
