As we told you yesterday, the Arc B580 is shaping up to be a huge success for Intel. In Europe, and more specifically at MindFactory, the card has already captured 5% of the merchant’s total sales. It has to be said that in Germany the card is better positioned than in Europe , where it is not uncommon to find it at €370… Still on pre-order because we don’t have any stock. However, in the US, at $250, it’s a BANGER!
Arc B580: out of stock in the US!
According to Wcctech, the card is selling like hotcakes across the Atlantic, with major retailers showing this model out of stock. This is particularly true of the Intel model, which seems to be very popular with gamers. Over there, on the other hand, the card is being offered at its advertised price of $249.99. At this price, you get a card that performs better than an RTX 4060 while offering more memory… All at a lower price. It’s hard not to fall for it.
In fact, the situation is such that prices are starting to rise to the level of those in France. On Amazon.com, the Limited Edition version, the ref card, is listed at $388 via a marketplace. At Newegg, the rare models in stock, the Gunnir cards, are priced at a minimum of $380. All this is forcing the Blues to put pressure on their suppliers to increase the supply of cards.
In short, a situation like this is clearly good for the Blues’ business as they end the year on a high. Remember that the latest Arc GPUs suffered from a chaotic launch with drivers not ready, which tarnished the launch. Since then, Blue GPU market share has fallen to 0%, as JPR’s latest market survey shows.
Let’s just hope that this momentum continues, so that Intel can not only capture market share, but also secure it over time.
