A little tour at ID-Cooling who presents us a new heatsink. Again, with this IS-30A, we aim at compactness with a 30 mm high heatsink. To get an idea, it’s less high than a G.Skill Trident Z strip!
IS-30A: the heatsink more compact than a Trident Z!
With this new heatsink the brand announces something compact measuring 93 (W) x 100 (D) x 30 (H) mm. The weight is 310 g.
The heatsink then has a total of 4 copper heat pipes of 6 mm each. As you can see, they also offer a nickel plating for finishing. These are joined at an aluminum base and will come into direct contact with the CPU.
The ventilation is based on a slim mill in 92 mm powered by PWM. In operation, the rotation range is between 800 RPM and 3600 RPM. At full speed, the airflow will reach 40 CFM and the static pressure will be 2.2 mmH2O.
Regarding the compatibility of sockets, we find all the mainstream platforms of the market. In Intel, this represents all motherboards in LGA-1000 and in AMD, the AM4!
Finally, the selling price should be around 30 € for this model.
