Intel’s Arc A580 to be launched soon?

The Intel Arc A580 is a well-known model, having been unveiled by Intel. However, it’s a reference that never saw the light of day on the market because…? Nevertheless, despite its non-launch, the card has already made news, notably via scores on GeekBench. This time, we learn that custom versions of ASRock and Sparkle have been spotted. Is a launch planned soon?

Arc A580, ASRock and Sparkle custom versions revealed?

Apparently, two A580 custom models have surfaced on the Internet. On the program are ASRock’s Challenger OC and Sparkle’s Orc. The two boards are quite similar in that they come in a dual-slot format and are equipped with a dual-fan heatsink. Likewise, the boards are very similar to their A750 counterparts from the same manufacturers. Note that ASRock’s model appears on the German price comparison site Geizhals.

The A580’s chip is an ACM-G10 GPU with 24 Xe cores and 3072 shaders. The configuration is relatively close to that of the A750, with its 28 Xe cores and 3584 sharders. This model benefits from a PCIe 4.0 x16 interface, while the TDP is lower than that of the A700: 175W vs. 225W.

Presumably, Intel hasn’t cancelled its board, it just hasn’t launched it yet, not the right time? In the meantime, we shouldn’t expect a big launch with a dedicated event. Here, the launch will be discreet, with cards appearing in stores and that’s all.
