Intel graphics cards: positioning and pricing

0

We have been speculating for many weeks about the arrival date, the prices and the performances of the Intel ARC graphics cards. This official slide that WCCFTECH has obtained now allows us to have a very precise idea of the price positioning but also the performance of the upcoming Intel cards. Not surprisingly, the bottom of the range will be driven by the small Arc A310 with 4GB of memory and a TDP of 75W. It should be at the level of the GeForce GTX 1050/1050 Ti (i.e. a GTX 1630 ) at a price below $99. Just above we have the A380 slightly less powerful than the GTX 1650 with a price ranging from 100 to 149 dollars.

Cartes graphiques Intel A little higher up, in the $200 to $300 range, we see the Arc A580, which promises to combat the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050. Finally, the Arc A750 card will compete with the RTX 3060 and AMD Radeon RX 6600 in the $300-$350 price range, while the top model of the Intel Arc Alchemist GPU generation, Arc A770, will be content to fight with the RTX 3060 Ti and RX 6650 XT in the $350-$400 price range. Obviously, some will say they are disappointed by this positioning but did we really expect Intel to be competitive on the high end from the launch? Let’s not forget that the core of the market has been around Nvidia’s xx60 series for years. If Intel succeeds in its price positioning, it will really have a card to play when it arrives on the market.
