Intel announces further performance improvements on its GPUs

We have said here several times how much we like Intel’s arrival on the GPU market. An opinion that does not exempt us from being critical when necessary and especially from considering that real and serious competition has never hurt the market. If the story started badly, especially because of the drivers, Intel seems decided to continue to amplify its efforts on the subject. Team blue are, for the moment, extremely reactive when new games are released and continue to optimize the support of their cards. The latest “4311” drivers, still brings a significant performance gain compared to the previous version. Overall, we seem to be heading towards an increase of between 4% and 17% depending on the game parameters. Many of these games have been tested with raytracing enabled where we also find a performance improvement for the “small” Intel.

Intel drivers: more performance improvements.

All these improvements go hand in hand with a price drop for both references (A750 and A770). So the cards based on Arc A750 GPU are very competitive compared to Nvidia solutions. Some will say that the RTX 3060 12GB has more Vram and is therefore better equipped for new games, but that doesn’t stop the little A750 from beating the NVIDIA GPU in most games at 1080p and 1440p resolutions.

This is more news that accentuates the regret of a failed launch and a late arrival on the market. We now know that Nvidia is going to roll out its RTX series in the next few weeks with the arrival of the 4060 and 4050…Maybe the story won’t be the same?
