i7-13790F and i5-13490F: officially only in China

We spoke to you a little while ago about these two “new” CPUs from the Raptor Lake range that seem to be intended to counter the upcoming Ryzen 7000X3D, especially with a larger cache. However, contacted by us, our friends from Intel tell us that if these two references 13490F and 13790F are real, they are for the moment intended for the Chinese market. We will have to watch the evolution of the demand with the arrival of the 7000X3D because for the moment the Raptor Lakes are not really threatened by the AMD Zen4.

i7-13790F and i5-13490F: only for China (for the moment?)

But AMD should position its new babies more aggressively. Price and performance combined with a significant drop in DDR5 prices could reshuffle the deck a bit. A thought that Intel’s people must have as well since a significant drop in the prices of the 13th generation seems to take shape. In short, a drop in prices and a renewed aggressiveness for the reds: this is probably good news for consumers.

So, if the balance of power changes, it is not impossible to see these two atypical Intel processors leaving the Chinese continent in the coming weeks. First of all through “wild” imports and why not in a more official way…
