While the big fourteenth-generation CPUs have been released and tested, all the lower-end ranges have yet to be launched. For that, we’ll have to wait a little longer, as the CES date has been mentioned. Nevertheless, via a China-based vendor, we can already find traces of the Core i3 14100, an entry-level CPU!
Core i3 14100: the CPU spotted in China!
Clearly, this CPU is an entry-level model, with only 4 cores and 8 threads. It certainly pales in comparison with the 14900K (24c/32). The rest of the specifications mention a base frequency of 3.5 GHz and a 12 MB L3 cache memory. Finally, heating should not be a problem, with its 60W.
This series should be completed by an “F” model devoid of iGPU, the integrated graphics part. Finally, a third “T” model should also appear, with a TDP limited to 35W and a base frequency lowered to 2.7 GHz.
All we can say is that a guy in China (via Goofish) is selling a 14100, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed. Indeed, @Harukaze5719 on Twitter spotted it. In the meantime, it’s a model listed at 850 yuan, i.e. around $120, and it’s said to be a Qualification Sample.
