Hyte Y70: the case returns… But without the touchscreen!

0

Hyte’s Y70 case is back in a new version without touchscreen. As you’ll recall, this was one of the big selling points of this model, as it featured a 14.1″ touchscreen with 1100×3840 resolution. Without the latter, this new version of the case benefits from a lower price!

Hyte Y70: a more affordable case without a screen!

Hyte Y70With this case, Hyte offers us a reference in the same spirit as the Y60, but more imposing. The increased dimensions enable the case to accommodate larger graphics cards and better watercooling compatibility. This translates into dimensions of 320 (W) x 470 (D) x 470 (H) mm.

Internally, you’ll be able to mount a motherboard in E-ATX format to the maximum. The graphics card, positioned vertically, will measure 422 mm in length. Fortunately, a PCIe riser is included. As for the power supply and CPU cooler, the respective clearances are 180 mm and 235 mm.

Fan compatibility features three 120 mm slots at the top and bottom of the case. At the rear, a 120 mm mill can be mounted, as opposed to two next to the motherboard.

As for watercooling, compatibility with 360 mm radiators is permitted at the top or right of the motherboard tray. Note that this is where 125 mm thick assemblies can be mounted. Arctic’s Liquid Freezer IIIs will fit right in!

All that’s left to talk about is the price, which is seriously reduced. While the Touch model (with screen) is offered at $360, the model without screen comes in at $219.99. Once again, it comes in four colors: white, black, black/white and black/red.
