Hyper 622 & MA824 : two double tower CM fans !

0

After its case TD500 Mesh V2 we are now going to talk about the new cooling products from Cooler Master. This time, we’re tackling the air cooling fans and more precisely, the double tower models. And on this subject, we find the MA824 Stealth and Hyper 622 Halo!

The Hyper 622 Halo, a rather compact cooler !

Cooler Master Hyper 622 HaloWith this model, the brand announces a relatively compact dual tower heatsink. Indeed, it measures 125 (W) x 137 (D) x 157 (H) mm. Despite its design, it is less than 160 mm high, which is quite encouraging for your PC cases.

As you can see, the base is made of nickel-plated copper from which a total of six 6mm heatpipes emanate. However, this famous base does not appear to be off-center.

The cooling, on the other hand, is entrusted to two 120mm Halo² fans with aRGB LEDs. They draw their power from a PWM signal and will operate from 650 RPM to 2050 RPM. At full speed, the air flow is 51.88 CFM and the static pressure reaches 2.89 mmH2O.

The big MA824 Stealth!

This second fridge, the MA824 Stealth is not what we call a compact model. Indeed, it is imposing with its 162.2 (W) x 150.6 (D) x 165.6 (H) mm, be careful with your case.

On the other hand, it is also much better equipped. Its copper base is wider and it embeds a larger number of heatpipes. On the other hand, we notice that the base is slightly eccentric towards the top!

To cool this beautiful baby, we have two fans, a first one of 135 mm and a second one in 120 mm. If both are PWM powered, they do not run at the same speed. The bigger one will run from 0 RPM to 1550 RPM while the smaller one has a rotation range between 0 RPM and 1950 RPM. Finally, the first one will generate an air flow of 63.6 CFM and a pressure of 1.92 mmH2O against 63.1 CFM and 2.69 mmH2O for the second.

For the moment, still no price known for these two fans. Note that they are not compatible with LGA-2000 or AMD sTRX4.
