Omen 16 Slim: an Ultra 9 285H and a mobile RTX 5070 under the hood!
With this PC, HP offers us a new model that adopts a slim format of just 19.9 mm, a 16% reduction on the classic Omen 16. What’s more, it features a 16″ screen that lets you choose between 1920×1200 at 144 or 165 Hz and 2560×1600 running at 240 Hz! For maximum fluidity!
Internally, the choice of processor is the latest-generation Intel Core Ultra 9 285H. It features a total of 16 cores, running at up to 5.4 GHz in turbo mode. Intel has announced a minimum TDP of 35W, with a base value of 45W and a maximum of 115W.
The graphics section is based on an RTX 5070 mobile, a new-generation card. This model benefits from the GB206 GPU with 36 SM (4608 cuda core) and 8 GB of 128-bit VRAM. In contrast, the desktop model boasts 48 SM (6144 cuda core) and 12 GB of 192-bit VRAM. What we have here is a GPU with a configuration similar to that of an RTX 5060… At least, as far as we know at present.
When it comes to memory, HP lets you choose between 16 GB, 24 GB or 32 GB of DDR5. In all cases, a frequency of 5600 MT/s is mentioned. As for storage, we’re talking about a 512 GB to 1 TB SSD.
