Small novelty at Maxsun which announces a HM570 motherboard a little particular. Particular in the sense that the processor is directly soldered on the board. As far as the CPU is concerned, you should know that it is a mobile model. In other words, it is a laptop processor.

HM570: a motherboard with a soldered laptop CPU!

Maxsun HM570With this model, the brand announces a motherboard in micro-ATX format, which is really very basic. Moreover, as you can see, the heatsinks on the power supply stages are absent… Just like on the Biostar H510MHP for example. In this case, there are six power supply stages.

For memory, Maxsun provides two DDR4 memory slots in the classic format. These can take memory running at 2933 Mbps. Otherwise, there is a single PCIe x16 reinforced connector. However, no idea about the standard used. Two other PCIe close the market: one in x1 and another in x4. Finally, for storage, we have three SATA III connectors and two M.2. We note the presence of an mSATA for the WiFi card.

As we said, the card has a CPU directly soldered on the PCB. The latter is a Core i7 11800H, a mobile type model. It has a total of eight cores with hyperthreading. In terms of frequency, the maximum boost will reach 4.60 GHz compared to the basic 2.3 GHz.

Despite the presence of a soldered CPU, the motherboard seems to offer LGA-1000 type mounting holes. Normally, we should be able to install a cooling unit or a classic AIO, however, we won’t put our money on it.

For the price, according to TechpowerUp this set should be available around $450.
